Baby in the belly

(that little circle in the square is the baby in my tummy by the way)

Sophia: I'm just so scared to have a baby.
Me: You're scared about having a baby in our family or to have a baby?
Sophia: I'm scared for when I have a baby.
Me: Why?
Sophia: Because they'll have to cut my belly to get it out.
Me: Well, not all moms have to have their bellies cut to get the baby out. Most moms can have their babies come out...(this is getting awkward)...another way.
Sophia: Well I'm just so scared about it.
Me: That's not something you'll have to worry about for a long long time and it won't be scary when it happens to you.
Sophia: Well I just can't stop thinking about it.
Me: Why don't you think about other things like butterflies and flowers.

Mom I'm so beautiful!

Sophia came up to me today to show me the beautiful job she did on her hair. She informed me she wants to be a hair fixer when she grows up.
She did a pretty good job with Lilly's hair too.

Speaking of hair, she had crazy hair day at preschool last week. She would only get as crazy as putting pipe cleaners in her hair. I thought she looked pretty cute.
Last night she wanted to surpise Doug by hiding under her bed. Little did she remember that tax season is in full swing and he wouldn't be coming home until late. I can't believe she fell asleep like this waiting for him. So sweet. He found her when he got home and helped her get back in her bed.

Fun Stuff

My cute friend Lauren has a fun garden blog where she posts fun things like how to grow wheat grass. We tried it last week and it was so fun! It grew so fast and the girls had fun cutting it down today.
Last weekend we went to the zoo with Sophia's friend Rachel. It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be and the kids had a great time.

My sister sent an awesome hand me down box a few weeks ago and it had this dress in it. Lilly could tell she looked so beautiful and loved wearing it!
A few weeks ago we went to Doug's house and forgot Lilly's coat. His mom sent us home with this one. I think all her kids wore it. It's the cutest coat ever! The best part is the hood that doubles as a giant shawl. She's so stylin'

My Groundhog Day Prediction

"I think he's going to go back to sleep. He's going to eat carrots. He will go back to sleep because he needs to take a nap" - Sophia
