End of the Year fun!

Last Thursday Lilly had her field day at school and had an absolute blast.  I got to help man the water table.

There was also ribbon dancing,
sidewalk chalk,
an Angry Birds game,
and popsicles!
I also got to decorate Lilly's teacher's door for teacher appreciation week and to welcome her back after maternity leave. We had the kids all draw her pictures and then we taped them to the door with candy and balloons.  I'm pretty sure this door would not be caught dead on pinterest but it was done by the kids so I'm good with it.
Mabel also had a good last week of preschool. On Tuesday they had pirate day
and then on Thursday they had a water party. She said it was fun but she got a little cold.
She also had her preschool graduation!  She had such a great year and had the best teacher.  Of course I'm a dork and didn't get a picture with her teacher though!
The poor little thing has some really terrible cold sores on her mouth (I've never had a child get these.  They're the worst!!) and she felt absolutely miserable.  She was a trooper though!
She goes to a local high school for preschool where the high school students help teach. They made these posters for the students and I thought they turned out so darling!
Now onto some more Lewis.  Doug sent me these cute snapchats last week.
He also had fun at the doctors office (which we were lucky enough to visit a few times last week).
And he found a bag of chocolate chips and helped himself.  I sure love this boy!!!

Lewis and Mother's Day

I found these pictures on the ipad the other day from a few months ago.  He's getting so big!  I can't believe he's almost one.
He loves to be outside where he can crawl around and eat all the sand he wants.  He doesn't like having to come in and get cleaned up though.
He also got to go to his first birthday party last week for a friend that used to be in our ward and that he now plays with at zumba sometimes.
All the cute little baby friends at the party.  The friend right next to him is in our ward and turns one a week after he does.  She's a total doll.
Last Saturday we had a tea party for the Activity Day girls and their moms for mothers day.  It was a lot of fun and we got a good turnout.
My cute friend let me borrow these drink containers.  I loved them!
My partner in the calling did the table set up and did a great job.  The girls all got to decorate a crown which they loved.
My three cuties got to be a part of the fun as well even though only one of them is in activity days.
I had a great Mother's Day this year too.  I got completely spoiled by Doug and the kids.
Sophia made me this family of bees out of rainbow looms. There was one for each member of our family.  I loved it.
This little guy was cute and happy on Mother's day too!
My parents came over for dinner and we had cedar plank salmon, a delicious salad and tuxedo cake.  It was all delicious.  We also got to skype with my family which was the best.
Sure grateful for these four hoodlums!

Dancing Princess

Last week Mabel had her dance recital.  For the firs dance she got to dress as a princess and have her daddy walk her onto the stage and twirl around and curtsey.  It was cute but of course I don't have a picture of it.
Here they are right before they went on the stage.
Then we did a quick costume change and she got ready for her other numbers.  I thought their costumes were super cute.
She did not keep her hat on though.  Right before one of the songs one of the girls took of her hat and handed it to the teacher.  Mabel and a few others followed suit.  She cracks me up.
The other day she stole my sunglasses and put them on and then told me she was ready to be my sidekick.  Ok then.
The dress that she wore to her recital was made by my mom for my niece who turned 20 last week!  Here she is in the dress back in the day.  It's still in pretty good shape!
Last week she dressed up quick right before bed.  Seriously never a dull moment.
Today was Hawaii day at preschool.  Do you think she had enough stuff on?
Here's some videos of the little dancer too.  The first one is a little hard to see but she's on the very far right.

The next one cracks me up.  It was toward the end of the recital and it was late and she was pretty much done.  She has a few hand twitches in there doing the movements but she pretty much was not having any of the dance.

Outdoor fun!

Last Saturday after a busy day of working in the ward we pulled out this thing and roasted some mallows.  It felt like summer!
This little guy enjoyed a mallow too.
And some dirt.
This is his shy face.  I love it!
 Such a fun muddy mess.
Quick random shot of the dude.  Can't get enough of him!
Last night some friends in our ward invited us down to see their horses.  It was so fun! Mabel seriously asks everyday if we can buy a horse.  She was in heaven!
This little guy liked them too!
Mabel said this one was her favorite because it talked to her.
I think it was everyone's favorite.
We also got a turn to ride one.  It was so fun!
She's a natural.  She seriously just hopped right on and wouldn't get off.
Sophia also got to walk this one around for a little bit.  She thought that was pretty great too.
So happy!  He wanted to give it a big hug!
He even got to go for a little ride and giggled the whole time.
It was so fun!  It made us want to buy one of our own!
