My SIL's mom sent us this game the other day that we had played at Lexie's birthday party in February. Lilly wanted to try playing "Cake in the Face!"
at the end of May we had a beautiful Saturday and spent some time at the park playing KubbAnd some soccer (kind of ).
We had a delicious dinner outside that included grilled donut strawberry shortcake. It was delicious!
We've been watching a lot of the NBA playoff games lately and one night this buddy had just had too much. I can't believe he fell asleep like this!!
For memorial day we had a yummy BBQ with ribs and bacon wrapped corn. Both recipes were experiments and although they were delicious, they need a little tweaking.
More playoff watching...
My mom celebrated Memorial day with us and brought this boy some presents for his birthday. He loved his new "glub" and binoculars!
Mabel gave him a train whistle for his birthday that she told him he could paint. That painting day finally came and he was so excited!
The beginning of June brought lots of dance rehearsals and recitals!! This little one performed to "She's In Love" from Little Mermaid the musical and "Friendship" from "Anything Goes".
I also got a chance to go to my niece and nephew's graduation from Waterford. The grandparents were pretty happy!!
After the graduation I met Doug up at Snowbird for a retreat with his firm. It was beautiful up there and nice to get away for a minute.
The next day we went to Boondocks and did some mini golf, bumper boats and arcade games. It was a pretty good time!
Summer time has also meant pool time!! And it came at the right time because right after this we found out we couldn't do any outside watering for 5 weeks so it was nice to have some water to put on our flowers and lawn!
We may have forgotten sunscreen and this sweet Mabes got a tiny bit burned...
These 4 had a sleepover in the living room the other day. I hope they stay friends like this forever. It was such a sweet little quiet moment while they were all reading!
Last week we went to the Payson pool. This little guy loved it!!
Lilly also had a recital. She performed in a tap number to "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5.
We carpooled with this little girl to dance this year and she became such a good friend!
More cute dance friends!
Doug and I are going to be gone on Father's day so we celebrated it this last Sunday. We got him some weights and his name spelled in donuts (a little balance right)? They were a hit!
We also spent this last weekend at a family reunion for his dad's side of the family. It was a nice day up the canyon and nice to spend some time with family. After that we met up with my college roommates to celebrate our birthdays but of course we didn't get any pictures.... It was still a super fun time!
