Happy Haunting!

So I'm going to start off with a random. Doug likes to pick a theme for the girls pajamas before they go to bed. This night it was wear one of daddy's shirts. Mabel appropriately picked the M shirt. Don't they look excited! Gotta love the Eskimo Joe's shirt!

We had a fun time celebrating Halloween! On Friday I got to go to Sophia's school to help with the party. I got to help with a game called "Grab the Ghost". It was pretty fun!
Here's the cute class all dressed up in the farm theme.
After the party at school we went to Doug's work to trick or treat. Here's the three pigs getting ready to go.
And the big bad wolf!
And the wolf and the littlest pig.
And a close up of the littlest pig. So cute! Our girls ended up winning for the kids costumes. They were pretty excited (not really. They had no idea what was going on).
Doug's co-worker and his wife were Ken and Barbie. What a crack up! They looked so good! Hope they don't mind me putting these pictures on here.
Last night we went to our Trunk or Treat that was held inside because of the downpour! When we walked out we were greeted by this though. So pretty.
One more thing, go here to see what my friend did for her little boy. Grass? Seriously? Only she could pull it off. She seriously never ceases to amaze me!

Wow! What a week!

We've had such a fun past little while. We've partaken in a lot of traditional Halloween activities like I'm sure the rest of you have as well. Here's the pumpkins we came up with.
We also went to the pumpkin patch and red barn in Santaquin with some friends. It was so great.

Lilly a.k.a. Bohemian loved it thiiiiiiis much!
Last weekend we had a super fun party with Doug's side of the family. It was held at this awesome barn in American Fork.
The man who owns it has a ton of carriages.
He even had them hanging from the ceiling.
He also had a Cinderlla carriage
And this one that has been in the Work and the Glory movies. He also had a hurse that was 100 years old that came from Missouri. It was pretty cool to see his collection.
Here's a picture of inside the barn looking up into the loft.
And this is what the back wall of the loft looks like. It was a pretty fun place and everyone had a blast!
Here's Doug's sister and her cute Dr. Suess family. We even had a few little pigs that joined us.
Doug's cute mom always decorates everything so cute for holidays. I love the little harvest display she set up in her front yard.
And last but not least to our week, Doug had a successful hunt. He's waited 9 years to get the tag he got so he was pretty excited.
We were glad that he was able to weather the storm without too many problems. They did run into a little bit of mud but at least they came home happy.

Fun Creations

Look at the fun vinyl my awesome friend Jen made for me! I love it all! The no place like home sign is going to go in my girls' Wizard of Oz room. I think it'll be great touch! I love the subway are too. She made me one for Christmas too. Thanks again Jen! You're amazing! For FHE we colored pumpkins. Here's how they turned out.

I love how photogenic Lilly is. I just can't get enough.

Here's Doug's.
And what I came up with.
We love this time of year and are excited for all the fun pumpkin related things!

Cleanin off the Camera

It's time for the every-so-often emptying of the camera. Get ready 'cause here's the latest and greatest.

First, this cute sideways baby turned 3 months old and is ready for Halloween. I can't believe how big she's getting! Stop Mabel!

A few weeks ago Sophia set up a shoe shop in our room. I love the sign's she made for it. THe last sign says "yas" or yes, meaning she's open. Her lovely assistant.
What a cute shop keeper! Pretty good selection too. The rest of them are behind the bed. They were pretty expensive too! Some of them were going for numbers like 101, 410, and 307.
Here's what our Sunday dinner was a few weeks ago. Oh my grilled asparagus. Delicious! SO sad to say goodbye to the grill for awhile. Good thing we've got our trusty George though!
Last week for FHE we looked through the new Temple magainze that came in place of the Ensign. Afterward we decided to draw pictures of temples just like the beautiful ones in the magazine. Here's what I came up with.
Doug and Sophia managed to pull this together. I like the tent in the wilderness approach.
And here's Lilly's beautiful rendition. So lovely.
We put up Halloween decorations this week too! We had fun playing with a few of the costumes.

Halloween Times at Wales

We had a fun conference weekend at the Wales house again! The kids had fun doing a lot of fun Halloween things.

First, I'll start this post with a random instead of ending with one. One of the neighbors down there makes these cutest table/bench things. I thought they were pretty cute.

Now onto the fun Halloween stuff. We found this cute little pumpkin in the patch.
I just love her.
We had fun wearing our Halloween shirts.
And decorating cookies.
Doesn't this look delicious?! I found the cute marshmallows at the Walmarts in the baking aisle.
We decorated pumpkins. Lilly was showing what her pumpkin face looks like.
Sophia, of course, made a cute dog.
And we played with giant spiders.
Watch out!
We also decorated the door with a giant spiderwebs to scare the daddy's when they came back from the priesthood session.
Overall we had a fun weekend, enjoyed conference and did a lot of sitting around.
We also managed to squeeze in a few smiles.
Hope you all had a good weekend!
P.S. I forgot the camera so these are from my phone. Sorry they're so crappy!
