At the beginning of May Mabel got to celebrate her summer birthday at school. Her favorite part was picking kids to be candles for her to blow out. She pretty much looked forward to this moment all year!
We brought bubbles to share with her class and had some extras for Lewis to play with. He was so excited!! It was like seeing them for the first time.
We pulled out the bubble machine when his sisters got home and he loved that too!Lilly's teacher loves cows and has her room decorated in a cow theme. I made her this cow mini quilt to hang on her wall and had the class sign the back. We are going to miss Mrs. Cope!
A few Saturdays it warmed up enough for us to get the first snowcones of the season. They were sure tasty!
Sophia made some cookies with Lewis the other day and he was more than happy to lick the bowl and spoon!
Sophia had a few end of year school projects that she worked hard on. Her class did an egg drop and this was her box. She made it to the 2nd round but didn't win unfortunately.
She also had to make a state brochure. Her state was Arizona and I was pretty impressed with her hard work!
A few weeks ago I came into the living room and found Lewis and Mabel like this. Apparently they were pretty tired...
Last week Mabel had her Kindergarten graduation. It was a pretty fun day and she got to wear her class shirt!
She was so concerned about her hat falling off during the whole program. It was cracking us up!
Her self portrait on her class shirt. I love it!
Mabel with our favorite Mrs. Nelson! She was retiring this year and we were so sad to see her go!
I'm going to miss seeing her work hanging from this cute octopus too!
And here's a random Saturday afternoon activity the kids came up with a few weeks ago. It was something about a tour through the adventures of an egg or something. At least they were doing something off the couch!
