We had such a fabulous Memorial Day! We went down to Wales on Sunday night and had a fabulous time getting away. Here's a few pics we took right after getting there.
On Monday everyone came down and we did the annual spring cleaning of the Wales House. It felt great to work hard and get so much done. The kids were a big help by watching lots of movies and keeping each other entertained.
After Wales we headed up to Salt Lake to visit my grandma and grandpa Nicholl's graves. We took a picture of Lilly by my grandma Lilly's grave who she was named after. After that we dropped the kids of with Jeffy and Lexi (thanks again guys (and J, Lu, and Emma)!) went and grabbed some dinner and then headed to Thanksgiving Point for the Death Cab for Cutie concert. It was such a great time. Teagan and Sara were the openers and they were pretty good too. The gates were supposed to open at 5 and so we got there just after 5. When we got there we were greeted by the longest line of our lives! The gates were just in front of the building you can see in the very back. The line wrapped all the way to the right around the parking lot. We were lucky to find some friends from our ward so we hopped in line with them. The gates didn't open until after 7 and so we had a fabulous time waiting...not! Good thing Death Cab made it worth the wait. It was my first official "concert" experience (aside from Peter B. and seeing the Dixie Chicks at the Delta Center) and it was quite the experience. I think I saw it all - way more than I wanted to see - especially when it came to a group of girls that were a little more than just some girls hanging out. Yikes! Here we are living it up without our kids. Here's a pic of the band. Here's a short clip of one of their most famous songs "I Will Follow You Into the Dark".

The Little Artiste
Sophia has been so in to coloring lately. She usually asks if she can color a picture for Grandma Wilkins daily or she lets me know that she needs to do some work for her school. Anyway, she's been so proud of all her artwork and has displaying it around the house. She recently discovered that magnets stick to the dishwasher and she's had a pretty fun time with that.
Yesterday we went to a dance recital for our niece Kaleen. It was so fun and all the dances and dancers were so cute. Here she is dancing to "Aint I sweet" (I think). Before we left Doug built this awesome ball track outside. Sophia had a blast letting balls roll down it. There's a video at the bottom of the track in action. This is what happens while mom's at work and Daddy is in charge. Sophia gets into the Nesquik and then does the cheesy pasta dance (again, the video can be seen below).Bonus picture of the Willers. I'm pretty sure this is what she'd look like if she was a boy (minus the flower pajamas).

What a fun weekend!
This is a giant chess board they had outside the resort. We didn't actually get to play but I thought it was fun so I took a picture.
Here's a bonus picture of my Activity Day girls from this week. I had no idea we had such a good climbing tree until I saw them all up in it! I totally love my calling and love these girls! They're so much fun and we always have a great time when we get together!

Mary Mary Quite Contrary....
We also got Sophia a swing that hangs from the tree and she loves it so much! She occasionally lets Lilly take a turn in it but it's usually just her turn.
Here's a couple of the cute Willers herself.
Here's some other fun things we've been up to lately.
Here's a bonus picture of some beautiful blossoms:
P.S. As a little (long) side note, we had quite the Mother's Day this year. I have been under the weather for the past 2 weeks and it was driving me crazy - literally. Anyway, it all started a few weeks ago when I felt really dizzy. I was pretty lightheaded for awhile after that. My MD said I had a virus but my brother who is an MD (who's opinion I trust more) thought I had an inner ear infection called vestibular tenitis. One of the symptoms that you can get from this is anxiety because of all the mixed signals the brain is getting because of the infection. Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is what I had. About 1/2 hour before church Sophia fell asleep so we were pretty sure we weren't going to make it and then I totally flipped out and made Doug take me into the instacare. The MD there was pretty sure that I was having some anxiety from the sickness so he gave me some crazy pills to help me sleep. I was so tired because I couldn't sleep because every time I would close my eyes I would convince myself something was seriously wrong with me and I couldn't sleep. It's amazing the way our minds work and the things our brain can do to us. Anyway, after getting some rest and a great nights sleep last night (the first in many weeks), I am feeling so much better (I don't know if it's because I'm getting over this or because of the meds) and finally starting to normal (or whatever "normal" I know). I also just got a call telling me that all my blood tests were normal and that my mono test showed that I had it in the past but don't currently have it - whatever that measn! Anyway, thanks for all your thoughts, concerns and prayers. Lets all hope that I have a better Mother's Day next year - not that my family wasn't fabulous to me with breakfast in bed, beautiful flowers, and a picture of a lion from Sophs, I just wasn't quite myself. I also hope to be 100% by the end of this week so that we can go on the retreat with Doug's work to the Zermatt in Midway. I'm way excited and could definitely use the R&R!

Thank you Aunt Leda!
Lilly finally fits into the fun jammies Aunt Leda gave her for Christmas so we had to snap a pic. Thanks again for the matchers Aunt Leda!
Here's a couple of pictures of everyone's favorite Sunday afternoon activity - eating Cheetos on the kitchen floor. In the first picture you can see how cute her flippy hair was last Sunday.
Here's another video of the Laughin' Lillers! She was in such a laughing mood and would laugh any time Sophia would put her head on her tummy. Unfortunately all that laughter slowed the minute the camera came out. I included a bonus video of my Silly Sophs!
