I'm so glad when cousins come to town!

Glad as I can be! We were so lucky to have cousins come into town last week. We did so many fun things together but unfortunately Iwas not so good at bringing the camera along. I knew my amazing sister would document everything and she did not dissapoint. Some of the pictures are from her blog. Feel free to check her blog to see more of the fun. Here's the cute girls playing in the fountain at the temple.
Yikes! Here they are at the animal museum (Bean Life - Bruce kept looking for the beans). We also went to the aquarium in Salt Lake and had a fabulous time there!

Here's the crew before the big sendoff back to NY. Thanks again for coming sista! It was so fun to see you again and I'm glad we got to spend time together again!. Sophia still asks everyday to go to grandma's a feed the goats with Jane and Bruce. She prayed the other night for all her cousins, buddy and blacky (the goats) and her aunt Liza that she loves. My sister has the cutes kids in the world! Each one is a crack up and is adorable. Her kids help me know that it is possible that my blue eyed blonde really is mine.
We love you Jane! Sophia can't wait to play with you again and really wants to come to your house sometime!Aside from all the cousin fun, we spent some of Doug's free time last week landscaping our front yard. We put in some edging to seperate the grass and plant beds that line the front walk. I think it turned out pretty good.
Our awesome friends also let us have some of their fieldstone. We put this little pathway in front of where we park. We also planted a lilac tree, rose of sharon, and some bulbs behind it. I can't wait till it all blooms!
Lilly helped by making sure the concrete steps were hard enough. I was glad I was not home when the spill took place. She also got a nice shiner on her cheek by crashing into the stroller wheel.
We're looking to a fun weekend full of turkey hunting (Doug) and Wicked! (me). We're also heading to Vegas for the first part of next week so I'll be sure to post some of our fun from there!

P.S. I went and saw an allergist today because I've been dy-ing lately with all that's in the air. I'm currently taking 3 allergy medications including a nasal spray and am still dying. They did the back test and when the tech came into check on me he said "well, I'd ask you how you're feeling but I think I can tell by just looking at your back. You may be the first one this season to react to just about everything we tried." The conclusion was that if it grows I'm allergic to it. Needless to say, I've decided to start the allergy shots. I know it's a 3-5 year committment but if it saves me in the long run I think I'll give it a try. I'm getting tired of going through this year after year and I think I'm ready for some real relief. Anyone out there had experience with the allergy shots?

Your landscaping looks really good! I am loving gardening this Spring, eight-months pregnant and all. I wish we could do more landscaping, though...it'll come in due time. In the meantime, I'll try to learn from pros like you.

Looks like you had fun with your sister. Your landscaping looks awesome. And what a bummer that you get allergies so bad! I feel for you girl! So we still need to get together and play. You, Michelle, and Jen should come over to my house for a little playdate sometime soon. I know Jen and Michell don't know each other, but I think it would be fun and I really want to see Jen too.

Whoa- sorry you are allergic to everything. Sheesh! You better never move to Oklahoma. I've never had allergies, until I moved here and that is what everyone says. I hope the shots work. I'm glad you had fun with Liza. Cute pictures. Your fieldstone looks awesome. Way to go! And a lilac tree- aww- I love it. Glad you got to see WICKED!-- Yeah it is coming to Tulsa in July and Brandon says I can go!! YIPEE!! Hope you had fun in Las Wegas.
