Swim Lessons and Bike Race

Last week the girls finished up a few weeks of swim lessons.  It's apparent they will never be proficient swimmers but at least they had fun!  It was Mabel's first time and aside from the first day that was full of a lot of "I don't want go mine teacher" she warmed up to the idea and had a great time.
After the last day of swimming we headed up to the city park to see the Stage 3 finish of the Tour of Utah bike race.  I really wasn't expecting much but it was so much fun!  The kids had a blast.
They had some dirt bike guys doing jumps which was pretty cool.
There was also a train they got to ride
Sophia being silly by the bounce houses.
And face painting. It was awesome!  And it was all free!
Even this little guy had a great time.
They had a big screen going that was showing the progress of the bikers in the race.  I had no idea what a big deal this was.  Apparently there were teams from around the world full of famous international racers.
Sophia at the finish line waiting with her cowbell.
I think this was the first biker that came through.  Pretty fun to see!
