The 4th

We had a great time celebrating our nations birthday!  We woke up bright and early and headed to the balloons.  I forgot the front tire of the stroller but luckily Doug's a trooper and went with it.

The balloons did not disappoint this year. We had a blast.
And of course the morning was not complete without donuts.
 Hi Smokey!
The one in the middle was the Wizard of Oz balloon.  I loved it!
 Star hair.
That night we went to Doug's brother's for fireworks. This one cracked me up.  It was actually pretty impressive!
The rest of these photos are from Doug's camera. Sorry they're a little out of order.  The night before we left the girls sleep upstairs.  This is how we found Mabel in the morning.  Seriously?!
This picture pretty much sums up how everyone felt.
Then it got a little better.
So cool to touch a balloon!
Doug recently got a new camera and had a little bit too much fun playing around with it.  I love it though!
Later that afternoon we set up the pool outside.
This guy seemed to enjoy it.
 This face...
Getting ready to light off some fireworks!
 They were a little tired.
Sparklers!  This is my favorite part of the whole holiday.
All curled up with these cuties to watch the fireworks.  It was a good show this year!!

LOVE the star hair!! I saw a lot of that- but you did a great job! Love the balloons- we made our own donuts for breakfast (fried Pillsbury biscuits)and they were delicious and gave us tummy aches later. :)
