Christmas 2014!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas....
And Christmas morning!! Dad climbed in bed with these crazies!! Sophia was up at 4!! We made her wait until 6.  It was still way too early for me!
And for this guy too.  He preferred to sleep in.
After reading the scriptures we took a stairs picture before heading for the presents.

Lilly sizing up the gifts.  I always love their faces right when they see the presents.
 First we did stockings.
This guy was pretty content with what he got.
Then it was time for some gifts.  I love this picture because you can see all the fun cards we got from such nice people!!
Mabel got her Elsa Make-up and was sooooo excited!!!
Sophia got the make-up kit she wanted
And Lilly got the science kit she asked for.
Doug got some fun things and this awesome shirt!
I got some great things including a Shark vacuum that I wasn't expecting.  I've loved it!! It's the gift I didn't know I needed!  Lilly also gave us this great handprint ornament.
 The aftermath!
 Lewis eying his car track.
After opening gifts at our house we went to Grandpa and Grandma Millers where we got completely spoiled!!!
Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Wilkins' where we were spoiled further (and of course I didn't take pictures).  Then we went to my brother Jason's house for a delicious prime rib dinner. These girls were having a complete blast with cousins in the hot tub!
I brought along a Buche de Noel from Gourmandise.
And finally. I'm prett sure this was Doug's favorite gift.  It's from a movie called "Drive" that he loves.
The next day we slept in and played toys.  That afternoon we saw "Into the Woods" with some of Doug's family.  We spent the rest of the day and pretty much all day yesterday lying around being sick!! I have a horrible cold and Lilly, Mabel and Lewis had upset tummies.  Not the best time to be sick but what can you do! At least we made it through Christmas!

Boo for sick kids and sick moms! Humans should just fatten up over the holidays and then hibernate until spring. I could support that.
