Fun with cousins and auties!

We've been so spoiled and lucky to have my sisters and their kids in town.  We've had an absolute blast!  My sisters, sisters-in-law and mom were able to go to this conference at the Provo Library.  It was awesome!  My mom has been going for many years but this was only my second year going.  I was only able to go for one day because of a certain little mr man but I'm looking forward to going next year!  The guy that is speaking in this photo is Steve Jenkins.  He was awesome!  All of his illustrations are done with paper.  They were incredible!  The two people sitting in front of us are Phil and Erin Stead.  They are a husband/wife author/illustrator team.  The very first book she illustrated was A Sick Day for Amos McGee (it's awesome and he wrote it!) and she won the Caldecott for it.  She does all of her illustrations out of wood carvings.  She's pretty incredible too.

 

After a fun day at the conference we wandered around in the bookstore for a little bit.  Loved seeing Donald's Ducks! It was fun to run into a few fellow co-workers of the past too.

 The next day my mom and sisters headed back to the conference and my dad and I played with the kids.  We took them to a park by my parents house that they loved.  Can you spot Jane clear up there?

 After the park we ventured up to Bridal Veil so the kids could play in the water.

 Later that night we went bowling!  Once again, the kids loved it!  The girls were so cute to help Mabel.

My cute niece Emma works at the snack bar at the bowling alley.  It was fun to visit her as well! She's my mom's oldest grandchild and Lewis is the youngest!

The bowling scores.  Our team consisted of Rosie, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Sweetie Belle and Domino.  Rarity (Lilly) actually ended up winning!
