This little girl absolutely cracks me up. Here's some of my favorite things that she says:
-"little help here!" (whenever she needs help with anything)
-she often adds "super (supah) bad" or "really bad" to the end of anything. She'll say things like "I'm hungry (hungee) supah bad" or "I tired really bad. I need nap!" (she really loves to sleep and often asks for a nap).
-I love hearing her talk to Lewis. She gets right in his face and in a really high pitched voice says "it's a cute bootsie!" or "he's so cute!" Over and over. Or she'll say "he's op-een his yittle eyes!" She usually just puts her hands over her ears though and says "Ewis cry too youd! He needs you momma! He's hungee." The other day she wanted to look at Lewis but it came out as "I want to yick (sounded like lick instead of look) Ewis!"
-Lately she's been saying how much "hates" or "doesn't yike" things. She was eating a bowl of ice cream the other day and after a few minutes pushed it away and said "I don't want this. I hate it!" It's usually after she's about halfway through or finished something when she decides she hates it.
-Whenever she's doing something and wants me to watch she says "watch a (one) more time momma. Just a more time". (over and over)
-Whenever it's time to go or I need her to do something and she's busy she usually responds with "Just a second!" Wonder where she hears that one from?
-I also loves that when she says her name it comes out as "Yabel".
Our lives would be so boring without her!
Per her request we made her a blue star cake. Doug put it together and frosted it. I think he did a pretty good job!
My sister and her kids were in town and her cute Kate had a birthday that week too so we celebrated her birthday as well! She got flip flop cupcakes.
Singing to Mabel.
Blowing out the candles!
The 2 cute birthday girls!
This girl cracks me up. She likes to have a little bit of alone time. Especially when she's eating cake.
She did allow for some help opening presents though.
Hooray! A Snow White doll!
It was a fun night that included some backyard swimming with the cousins (don't know why I didn't get a picture), movies and a sleepover (with Doug trying to tickle them in their sleep).
Happy Birthday Mabel and Kate! We love you!
