Last Sunday Doug and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary! Sophia took this fabulous picture of us right before dinner.
We had a good day (full of church and meetings!) but we able to have a nice dinner together at night. We started with some french onion soup, a yummy appetizer my sister told me they had on Thanksgiving (except I couldn't find goat cheese or quince so we substitute ricotta and plum jam) and some sparkling pear juice.

My awsome parents gave us this cool picnic table that doubles as benches. The girls begged up to set them up (even though it was a little chilly outside). They loved trying them out and even had a picnic lunch out there. We can't wait until the spring when we can enjoy them more. Thanks mom and dad!
We also set up the kids tree downstairs to keep up with our tradition of setting up a tree on our Anniversary. They loved it and were excited to pull out Rudolph and Clarice again too.
