Christmas Eve and Christmas!

On Christmas Eve we all gathered at Doug's parents house for breakfast and presents.  We had a waffle and pancake bar and a lot of fun.
His parents are currently on a mission in Mozambique but we were able to skype with them and it was great.  We also talked with his sisters Jenna and Leda so that was great too!
Doug's brother JD and his family squashed on a couch.
We showed his parents the quilt we made for them and they were very touched and grateful.
After talking for awhile we exchanged gifts.  Doug's brother had us and gave Doug a VR box.  The kids all loved in and stood in line to use it.
Lewis also got these trucks and they were a huge hit.
Later that night we went to my parents house.  We opened our Christmas jammies and exchanged Christmas gifts.
Doug gave me these Totoro jammies and I love them.
The girls all got matching Star Wars!
And dad got Star Wars pants to match.
Lewis got some Paw Patrol ones.
And some awesome cars from Mabel!! Mabel got a cute cupcake game from Lilly, Lilly got a Shopkins game from Bennett, Sophia got Star Wars puzzles from Lewis and Bennett got a fun tummy time toy from Sophia.
Bennett got some snuggle Santa jammies!
 Brothers
After the kids went to bed the big guy came and left some gifts!!
These kids must have been good this year.
 He also filled the stockings.
I also snapped a few pictures of the kids trees.  This one was in Mabel's room
 Sleeping Bennett.
And this one was in the boys' room.
Christmas morning!! We set the BB8 outside their door and let it wake them up on Christmas.
 Except they were already up...

 Traditional stair picture.
The time for presents finally came and the kids were so excited.  Bennett got this awesome toy.
And waited so patiently while the rest of us opened presents.
Lewis got some of my younger brother Jeff's old Micro Machine toys (thanks Jeffy!).  He loved them.
 The aftermath!
 Playing with new toys!
Mabel got a Cotton Candy machine and was more than thrilled.  She'd been waiting for one for awhile!!
Christmas was on a Sunday this year so after presents we went to church.
After that we played with toys some more and watched more snow fall.
Then we got ready for my family to come down for dinner.
We were lucky to host this year and had a great time with everyone.
Bennett sure loves his grandpa!! And his awesome Stockton and Malone socks.
Doug got a pair too (from Jason) of his favorite player Steph Curry.
 Love these cousins
After everyone left we settled down to watch "Secret Life of Pets".  Doug and Mabel are sharing the same blanket.  It's the one I gave Doug for our anniversary.  That thing is huge!
Doug took this gorgeous picture on Christmas.  Pretty much sums up how wonderful the day was!
