Our amazing Primary chorister (who also builds her own furniture, takes amazing pictures, and is expecting her 4th boy - yahoo!) always does the greatest things during singing time. She's been known to do such things as spin the teacher and wear eyeballs on her head to get the kids to pay attention to her. Oh how I love to be serving in Primary because I get to enjoy what she comes up with! Yesterday was no exception. She had a box of dress ups and she passed around a little stuffed animal while all the kids sang. If the music stopped the child holding the animal had to say the next line of the song. If they got it right, she had to put a dress up on. The kids thought it was great. Apparently my child thought it was so great that it's what she picked to do for FHE. While I was cleaning up dinner she came out of her room with a big handful of dress ups and a little stuffed dog. She instructed everyone to sit down and pass the dog while we sang "My Eternal Family" aka "I am a Builder". She then told us when she said stop you had to keep singing the song and then you got to put on a dress up. She totally cracks me up. Here was the final result. All Doug got was the Eeyore ears. Apparently I'm a little too big for the little purple dress. Thanks for a fun FHE idea Stacy!
After FHE we pulled out some possible halloween costume ideas. I'm not one to keep a secret so I don't mind putting these out here. The tinkerbell costume is left over from my niece Jane and was meant to be for Lilly. It was a little big for her and a perfect fit for Sophs so she's now Tinkerbell. The skunk costume was from Sophia's first halloween (our little stinker) and is a perfect fit for Lilly. Doug decided we're doing a Peter Pan theme. I'm up for wearing a blue nightgown. Anyone have access to an adult size Peter Pan costume? I really don't want to make one (but now that I will anyway). We've already got the red hair to go with it.

Funny FHE
Fun Weekend
Saturday we went to my parents to help with the pressing of the apples. My parents have quite a few apple trees and a few years ago my brilliant dad purchased an apple press so that we could have fresh juice every year. This is a fast growing tradition in my family and definitely one I look forward to this year! We were so excited the Minnesota now turned Utah Millers were able to join us! They were very hard workers and we all had a great time!

Web Finds
I recently found these things online and thought I'd pass them along:
ABC Church Cards. I just got back from getting these laminated and am looking forward to using them tomorrow. I don't know about you but I am always looking for more things to keep my cute girls entertained during sacrament meeting.
Yummiest Popcorn Ever! If you've had Moose Munch from Harry and David this is very similar. I'm sure some of you have seen this before but I recenlty discovered this website and It's becoming a quick favorite (the website and the popcorn). I've already made a few batches of this popcorn and my house has smelled like Christmas each time. I also added a little bit of milk chocolate as well to make it a little extra delicious. I love it!
Have you hear about this woman? You can also read more about her here. I think she's nuts and a little bit motivating at the same time. I'm going to take the 18 day challenge (which I plan on making last more that 18 days). How bout you?

Preschool, Dancing, and Soccer
Sophia started preschool again and is loving it! I'm so happy for her and so glad that she goes to such a great preschool. Here she is on her first day.Today she came home wearing two friendship bracelets. Her teacher had made one of them and the other one was made out of licorice. She also came home with this picture. I totally love all the little faces! The ears are my favorite. Some of those names are pretty crazy. Renik? It's crazy that there are two Sophia's too. Unfortunately this most likely won't be the first time she'll be Sophia W. in her class. Who knew her name would be the name of the year for 2005? I certainly didn't.

What the girls are up to
We were lucky enough to have these awesome friends grace us with their presence this week while Kevin came down to take the CPA exam (Doug is sending his application off tomorrow by the way - it's only been a year since he graduated but who's counting! (there were a number of factors involced as well)). Anyway, the girls were having a fun time out coloring on the sidewalk and playing in the sand. I went out there later and found this. I love seeing Sophia's writings.
