OR/CA Trip Carmel to Anaheim!!

From Carmel we kept heading down the coast to Anaheim.  Northern California was gorgeous but this by far was my favorite part of the coast.  the water was so blue and almost green right up against the shore. It was absolutely breathtaking!

This was the Bixby Bridge. Death Cab for Cutie sings a song about it so we had to take a picture.
 Seriously some gorgeous sites.
Amazing!! I could not get over this water!
Obviously.  I couldn't stop taking pictures of it!

Along the way one of the beaches was full of elephant seals.  There were so many of them!
They were a little stinky but pretty cool to see.
We stopped at the Hearst Castle but didn't take a tour because it was $25 a person to see just 1 of the cottages. This was just the visitors center.
The castle was clear at the top of that hill.  Crazy.  It looked huge!!
Maybe next time.  This little boy was such a good traveler but often got quite messy!
After the Hearst Castle we went to Moonstone beach. There were the cutest little inns all along the beach. I want to stay there one day too!! It was gorgeous.
This was not a sandy beach but was still beautiful.
The girls loved the water here too but Mabel immediately got swept up in the waves (something we worried about at every beach!) and was a little afraid of the water after that.
This little boy was in heaven. Rocks for miles!
The pebbles were so cool! We spent some time looking for moonstones and think we found some.

After spending a little time there were continued down and passed through Morrow Bay.
The coast was gorgeous here as well.
Luckily these guys all took a nice long nap.
 More of the scenery.

Loved it.  After spending a few hours in LA traffic we finally made it to Anaheim!!
